Pe o insula a Braziliei numita Santa Katarina, se gasesc 42 de plaje. Foarte multe dintre ele renumite pentru surferi. Noi trecut pe la vreo 10 din ele si am stat mai mult in Bara de Lagoa. Salbaticie, culoare si peisaje cum se gasesc in ghidurile agentiilor de turism. Dar despre altceva vroiam sa va povestesc. Intr-o seara vazand pescarii locali ni s-a facut pofta de peste. Am mers sa negociem cu ei, si spre surprinderea noastra ne-au dat pestele si nu au vrut sa ia bani. Desi foarte multi dintre ei traiesc intr-o saracie destul de mare, ne-au spus ca au ce manca, si ca pentru asta multumesc lui D-zeu. Si pentru ca D-zeu a fost asa darnic cu ei, si ei ofera mai departe din darnicia asta. Chiar am ramas placut impresionat.
Ei da, câtă vreme mai sunt (şi) asemenea oameni, un licăr de speranţă, pentru această umanitate coruptă, persistă!
